PCTG is a transparent plastic and an amorphous copolyester. The commonly used comonomer of PCTG is 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM), the full name of which is polyethylene terephthalate-1 , 4-cyclohexane dimethanol ester. PCTG is an amorphous copolyester.
